What has changed.

The first major release: a new interface, every protocol of mRemoteNG and switching over by import.

• New interface in the Neo design. A tile list with folder headers, a sidebar, details and editing right next to the list, four colour schemes (black, blue, grey, light), an accent colour of your choice and a network of linked nodes in the background.
• Every protocol of mRemoteNG. New: a built-in VNC client, Telnet with auto-login, RAW, Rlogin via PuTTY, PowerShell remoting, HTTP/HTTPS in the browser and external applications as a protocol of their own.
• Import and export. mRemoteNG files (confCons.xml in all common variants, even with a custom password or fully encrypted, plus CSV), RDCMan files (.rdg), saved PuTTY sessions, computer accounts from Active Directory and the hits of a port scan. Export as confCons.xml, CSV and .rdp per connection.
• Built for large inventories. The list is virtualised – 1,000 connections build up in about a second. Search understands filters such as proto:rdp, tag:prod, folder:, host:, is:fav and is:open; Enter connects to the first hit.
• RDP without a security warning. Connections start via mstsc /v:host; the options reach mstsc briefly through Default.rdp, and the original is restored bit for bit. The classic method via an .rdp file can still be chosen in the settings.
• Session controls. A scale button, full screen with a pop-up bar, detaching into separate windows, focus mode (Ctrl+B), Ctrl+Alt+Del, screenshot and reconnect.
• Inheritance across any number of folder levels. Credentials on a folder apply to every connection below it; the details show where they come from.
• Tools. External tools with variables, Wake-on-LAN, a user field, Quick Connect (Ctrl+Q), “Send text to all terminal sessions” and a session log with CSV export.
• Taking over the previous version. The installer replaces an installed 0.x version; its database is taken over on first start.

• RDP sessions as tabs with embedded mstsc and the full depth of options: resolution, colour depth, redirections, NLA, certificate behaviour, RD Gateway, RemoteApp and console session.
• SSH terminal with colours, key or password login and host key checking that remembers keys.
• Encrypted vault with a master password, reusable credentials, auto-lock and a password generator.
• Folders, tags, full-text search, favourites and “recently used”; reachability via port checks; detachable tabs; restoring the last sessions.
• Import of .rdp files (one by one or a whole folder), session log and portable mode.
